  • An Interior Design-Build firm encompasses the interior design conceptualisation, as well as the design and construction aspects of a project under a single contract with the homeowner. In simpler terms, rather than engaging with separate parties for interior design and general contracting, you collaborate with a unified team that manages all of the phases of the home renovation process.

  • M.INTERIOR specialises in landed residential properties including terraces, semi-detached, bungalows/detached, and Good Class Bungalows.

  • While our primary expertise lies in landed residential properties, we do offer interior design services for HDBs and Condos as well, taking into consideration our current project commitments.   • As each project is unique, our fee structure is tailored individually for every project. Following an initial consultation or site visit, we create a budget and establish requirements and scope. In both scenarios, the Interior Design-Build work commences only after a signed agreement is in place.

  • While we encourage clients to utilise our appointed contractor, with whom we have established professional relationships for predictable project management, we are open to discussing collaboration with clients' preferred vendors or contractors. We will work closely with them to ensure alignment and effective project execution.

  • Each project is unique on its own with various factors affecting the cost including your preferences, the current space's size and condition, and the desired finishing materials.

    After understanding your requirements, we can propose a practical budget to initiate the project. Yet, for smoother and more precise planning, it's beneficial to disclose your budget range during our initial consultation.

  • At M.INTERIOR, we start with an Interior Design Consultation. If you then decide to hire us on a full-service interior design basis, we proceed with crafting a design brief and the design concept based on your requests. This will be followed by the Design Development and Design Implementation phases.

  • Typically, the timeline for completing drawings and design encompasses two phases. For an initial proposed layout plan and mood boards, we typically require a minimum of 1-2 months, depending upon the size of the residence. Upon homeowner approval to proceed, the design process advances progressively to ensure homeowners are not overwhelmed with all design aspects simultaneously.

  • It depends on the project as each project follows a unique timeline as they have different specifications from size of unit to complexity of development works. Generally speaking, any renovation projects will take a minimum of 6 months (landed residential).

  • We maintain a select clientele annually to ensure each client receives the dedicated attention they deserve. When you choose to collaborate with us, you can trust that we will personally oversee every phase of the project.

  • We recommend reaching out to us ideally at least 4-6 months before you plan to start your renovation. This gives us plenty of time to plan and prepare together. In the best-case scenario, where we have smooth discussions and agree on all the details, this time frame ensures a seamless transition from designing your space to starting the renovations. Of course, if your timeline is flexible, contacting us even earlier can be very helpful. Our design process usually takes about 1-2 months before we begin the actual renovation work. We'll also take into account our current projects to make sure we can fit your project into our schedule as smoothly as possible.
